CE MARK – Modules D, E and H

Module D: Production quality control.

Addressed to : Manufacturer.

Requirements are similar to ISO 9001 without design.

The Manufacturer must realize the Module B of the articles included in the range of Module D before the certifying auditing with the Notified Body.

In Pyrolab we have a great experience in the implementation of the Quality System for Module D in Pyrotechnics. The service we offer includes:

Module E: Quality control of the final product

Addressed to: Importer

Requirements are similar to ISO 9001 without design and production.

The importer must have his own laboratory or an outsourced one to realize the batch tests.
The importer must obtain module B for the imported articles, including the ones in the Module E range. The Notified Body will perform audits with a frequency established by themselves.

ARTICLES FOR PERSONAL USE – E.T. 4.01

Addressed to: Manufacturing plants that are also plants for the assembly and shooting of pyrotechnic displays.

Requirements are similar to ISO 9001.

Technical Data Sheets of the pyrotechnic articles are required. The manufacturer must make an internal evaluation to check if all the requirements similar to the CE Mark are fulfilled.

TECHNICAL DATA SHEET – CE Mark: Module B ET.4.01

Addressed to: Manufacturers and Importers.

Directive 2007/23/CE requires that the manufacturer and the importer define a series of information for each product that is usually reflected in a Technical Data Sheet. In Pyrolab we offer a development service for Technical Data Sheets both for manufactures and importers.

  • Harmonized standards requirements revision for each product.

Addressed to: National Manufacturers

The Regulation for Pyrotechnic Articles and Cartridges establishes that the manufacturer of articles for personal use will have to make sure that some requirements similar to the CE Mark ones are satisfied. For this reason, the development of a Technical Data Sheet and a basic evaluation of the safety requirements included in the harmonized standards for category F4 are necessary. In Pyrolab we offer a Technical Data Sheet development service for articles for personal use. This service includes:

The ISO 9001 Certification is a voluntary certification that provides an extra quality guarantee to customers and users of services and products of a certain company, on the contrary of companies that do not provide this certification.
