Safety and emergency plans composition according to ITC 08 of RAPyC

Addressed to: Fireworks Displays organizers and assembling and display companies.

The Pyrotechnic Articles and Cartridges Regulation approved by RD 563/2010 and amended by RD 1335/2012, establishes in the ITC 08 that the basis and criteria to make fireworks displays. In this context, the organizers have the chance to develop and set up the safety and emergency plans, in accordance with ITC 08.

The Safety Plan composition wants to establish the necessary measures to assure the protection of safety and launching areas, as well as the minimum distance from buildings, spectators and special areas. The Safety Plan is necessary for displays with more than 50kg of regulated material.

The Emergency Plan wants to determine all the possible emergency cases and the prevention and protection measures for each case. The Emergency Plan is required for displays with more than 100kg of regulated material.

CUTOMIZED TRAINING FOR APPRENTICES AND EXPERTS – Technical assistance to experts’ companies to organize the training

The Pyrotechnic Articles and Cartridges Regulation approved by RD 563/2010 and amended by RD 1335/2012, establishes that the fireworks assembling, and display must be realized by people with an Expert License.

To obtain this license, the entrepreneurs should train their staff according to what is established in ITC 08 and RAPyC.

Pyrolab organizes courses for the Public Safety and Emergency Valencian Institute (IVASPE).

We organize trainings for Local Police with reference to Pyrotechnics.
